i gave the task to think of a design to 'prettify' our lighters to mac. how-e-ver... it has been 2 months and the lighters were still in his room, untouched. grrr.
so i took the lighters home and in less than 5 mins., they're done!

bride's garter ~ it was just a plain blah garter so i decided to spruce it up a bit with flowers and stars with our color motif.
secondary veil ~ this is supposedly my primary veil but mama found it too short for me. she didn't like the lace as well (obviously, mas maarte nanay ko kesa sakin). so we made this as the secondary veil nalang. we cut it to make it smaller and changed the lace to a prettier one. mumsy will also be adding a few flower cutouts (from the lace) and scatter them all over the veil.
bride's pouch ~ we didn't really make this pouch. it's included in leonie's bridal package. we just added the flower and the feather as an accent and to match my wedding gown.
bride's veil ~ since the veil that is included in the package is made into my secondary veil, mama and i bought a longer veil. we got a frosted illussion toole. definitely prettier than the ordinary bridal toole we got! we're putting lace around it because we think mas classic if it's just the toole and a super few sequins. [veil still in the works]
misalette ~ after going back and forth the church to have it proofread for about 4 times, we finally was able to have it approved! we immediately created a cover layout and printed them on blue paper ourselves. the pages inside were simply photocopied nalang. we binded the pages together with a silver string ~ just because i'm oc and the thought of having our misalettes stapled makes me cringe. hehe.
table numbers ~ we wanted to share a few trivia about the jorgemacs so we created tablenumbers with a watermarked picture of us and some trivia like where our favorite hangout is, or what our favorite movie is. this will add a personal touch to the tables and guests will get to know more about us ~ and have something to read as well. [another project in the works]

cord ~ again, the cord included in the package was a typical one. and so because of my kaartehan (and my mom's, mind you!), we purchase a cord in divi ~ cream with silver accent. we also bought tassles for it. we glued on a few blue stars all throughout the cord and attached dangling blue celestial accents for added effect.

we were inspired by an invite we saw in a magazine. mac insisted that we get the same invite. we didn't want the formal, usual, classic invite. we wanted a whimsical one, something that will set the mood of our wedding ~ we wanted our wedding to be f-u-n! we asked a quotation from a well-known printing company and almost fell off our chairs. pricey! so, we asked mawi to help us with the initial layout, we tweaked it a bit, added some stuff and edited it and had them printed in our ninong-to-bes printing company in pampanga. we bought this eyelet setter and binded the invites ourselves.

these are printed, enveloped, and given personally to our loved ones. can't put a knot on it so we tied a ribbon with our motif instead. |

this is sent via email to family and friends who we don't see or can't meet before the wedding. i soooo love the idea. *beams* i think mac likes it too! |
